Siesta Scripture Memory Team: Living Proof Ministries July 15th Blog

My July 15th memory verses:

Isaiah 53:4
Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we consider Him stricken by God, smitten by Him and afflicted.

Isaiah 53:5
But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.

About my God

I always enjoy reading the "About Me" in other people's blogs, but today I thought that I also wanted to include "About my God" in mine.

My God is creator, holy, just, good. He is omnipotent, immutable, sovereign. My God is wise, faithful, forgiving, constant. He is the beginning and the end.

My God is called Jehovah (I Am), El (God of Power and Might), Elohim (Triune God), El Shaddai (The Almighty), Adonai (The Lord and Master) and Father.

My God is love, light, friend, counselor, giver and savior.

My God is so much more than I can understand, much less express here in a few words.
